🔐 Xero: What scopes/permissions do you require?

As part of the credit process we require ongoing access to customers' accounting data. This article describes the scope of permissions Tractor requests when a connection is initiated.

Xero App Partner Status

Tractor is an accredited app partner with Xero. As we are a financial services provider (FSP), we have to implement and adhere to a number of additional implementation requirements, checkpoints and terms. As an example, functionality such as “Loan Write-back” is a requirement for an App Partner who is a FSP. Optional to the customer, this functionality maintains the financial position within the customers Xero account for them at any point of the lending cycle. This is achieved by recording loan liability, the interest and/or fees, repayments, and facilitating the reconciliation of bank accounts, all of which requires write-access of varying scopes.
